In a filing on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Los Angeles, first reported by Billboard, the singer agreed to dismiss the case she filed in March, saying LaBeouf had agreed the NDA was "terminated and void" and that her lawsuit had "achieved its purpose." She had argued the agreement, signed as part of the July 2025 settlement of her earlier case against LaBeouf, violated California's STAND Act.

Her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, said the outcome lets her "discuss her own experience" and calls it "an important victory for the principle that women who speak out about sexual abuse should not be silenced by NDAs that contravene California law." LaBeouf's attorneys had contested her claims, and his attorney did not immediately respond to Billboard's request for comment on the filing.
